Click a box. Talk. Done.
Pick a demo, or just watch them play.
Three steps. No window to switch to.
Press your hotkey
Hold or tap the key combo you chose, in any app: email, chat, code editor, docs. The eye lights up to show it's listening.
Speak naturally
Talk the way you'd talk to a person. Punctuation and capitalization come out right; pauses don't cut you off.
Text appears
Release, and the words are typed at your cursor a moment later. Your clipboard is left exactly as it was.
Small app. Sharp ears.
Everything a dictation tool should do, without an account, a browser tab or a server in the loop.
Local Whisper
OpenAI's Whisper large-v3 models run on your own GPU via faster-whisper. Fast, accurate, and it works with the Wi-Fi off.
Private clipboard
Dictated text is kept out of Windows clipboard history and cloud clipboard sync, and your previous clipboard is put back.
System-audio capture
Hold one extra key to transcribe what your PC is playing: a meeting, a video, a voice note. Same local engine.
Translation
Speak one language, type another. Translate to English built in, plus an optional offline pack for many more targets.
The overlay eye
A small floating eye shows when WordWarden is asleep, listening or transcribing. Six styles, your colors, your opacity.
Sound themes
Eight subtle start/stop sound sets, from soft keys to stone and rune, so you know it heard you without looking.
Your voice never leaves the room.
Most dictation tools stream your microphone to someone else's server. WordWarden doesn't have a server to stream to.
- Audio is transcribed on your GPU and discarded. No recordings are kept.
- No account, no cloud sync, no analytics on what you say.
- Dictated text stays out of clipboard history and cloud clipboard.
- The only network calls: a license check and update checks.

Questions, answered.
Does anything I say get sent to the internet?
No. Speech recognition runs on your computer's GPU. WordWarden only goes online to check your license and look for updates, and neither includes your audio or text.
What do I need to run it?
Windows 10 or 11 and an NVIDIA graphics card with recent drivers. On first launch WordWarden downloads its GPU speech libraries (about 1.8 GB) once.
How does the free trial work?
Download and install: the 14-day trial starts automatically. No card, no account, no email. When it ends, subscribe and paste your license key to keep going.
How many computers can I use it on?
Each subscription's license key can be active on up to 3 PCs at once. You can move it between computers from Settings → License.
Which apps does it work in?
Anywhere you can type: browsers, Word, Outlook, Slack, Teams, Discord, VS Code, terminals, games' chat boxes and more.
Which languages does it understand?
Whisper recognizes dozens of languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Russian. You can also have it translate as you speak.
How do I cancel or change my plan?
Use the customer portal with the email you subscribed with. Cancelling keeps WordWarden working until the end of the period you paid for.
Who handles payments?
Checkout, tax and receipts are handled by Polar, our merchant of record. We never see your card details.
